WELCOME TO TABERNACLE OF SALVATION CHURCH

Greetings brothers and sisters, we welcome you to our Tabernacle of Salvation Church website. We are glad you have chosen to spend a few moments with us and meet our church family.

 UKRAINE MINISTRY & HUMANITARIAN AID

Many of us are watching this horrifying war from the safety of our homes and wondering what we can do to help ordinary Ukrainian people whose homes, cities and lives are being destroyed before our eyes. First, we must pray.

Countless miracles are activated when we pray. The Bible instructs believers to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and that “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14). We, as the body of Christ, are committed to Ukraine in prayer.

God’s Word also teaches us to “carry each other’s burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). This brings us to the second way we can help Ukraine – with our financial generosity.

Our church is uniquely positioned to provide humanitarian relief inside Ukraine right now through church members and contacts currently in-country. With your help, we can send food and basic necessities to the areas that need it most, aid in evacuations and provide shelter to displaced migrants.

The current situation is this: Eastern Ukraine is under heavy attack. Food is scarce as no supplies are coming in due to the cessation of all commercial activity. Stores are empty or closed and medical supply stock is depleted. In partnership with our dear brothers and sister from White Horse Heights Baptist Church, we are working directly with a church in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. As of today, 31 shipping containers with Humanitarian Aid (food, Bibles, medical supplies, hygiene, clothing, shoes, linens, generators, etc.) have been sent from Spartanburg, South Carolina and they all have been received in Vinnitsa, Ukraine. Having the blessing of direct contact where the supplies are sent and received, we are able to coordinate and execute our efforts. Our church has the opportunity to help the Ukrainian people directly with no overhead fees. We have contacts in Central Ukraine who can move food supplies into the eastern regions.

We are grateful to all who have partaken in helping Ukraine in these hard times. May the Lord Bless your families and your homes.
